Individual Counseling

Individual counseling is a type of psychotherapy where the counselor and patient engage in one-on-one discussion. The two form an alliance, relationship, or bond that enables trust and empowers the personal growth to deal with and overcome life obstacles including anxiety, depression, poor relationships, anger, parenting, and faulty thinking. From cognitive behavioral therapy to solution focused brief therapy, counselors embrace the different types of individual counseling more than any other form of therapy.
